Thanksgiving This Year š¦
We are heading back up North, from FL to NY, to celebrate the holiday with our family. Now that we live in FL, close to my Mother, it is important for us to share our time during the holiday seasons with both families and this year we owe our NY family a visit.
Also, JP's Dad and Step Mother are joining my Dad's side of the family for the first time this year in what will be a record breaking attendee list for our Thanksgiving. Hoping they got a big enough turkey!
Looking forward to introducing JP's parents to my family but mainly looking forward to all of the glorious foods.
Our Thanksgiving always starts off with everyone heading to my Aunts house for a lunch of tomato soup and grilled cheese, to move onto appetizers of meat and cheese, and assorted nuts, with wine. Then after we all catch up, around 5pm, we sit at our designated spots at the table and dive in buffet style into the food.
Dessert is always the best part of our Thanksgiving as my Dad makes his famous cheesecake and brownies. And then the pies are always on.
